Christina Applegate showcased her new canes on Twitter early Thursday, ahead of her first public event trip since announcing her Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis last year.
The 50-year-old Dead To Me actor remains positive and shared the steps he started on his MS journey with his 1.5 million followers.
The beauty announced her diagnosis in August 2021 and tweeted that at the time, she also received great support from those affected by the condition.

In the photo she shared on her main Twitter page, the talented star displayed a total of five new walking sticks that she had just opened.
“I have a very important ceremony soon,” Christina explained in the caption of the post.
He also told his fans and followers, ‘This will be my debut after being diagnosed with MS. Canes are now part of my new normal.’
The actress also added, ‘Stay tuned to see which ones cut a week’s worth of material.

The Married…With Children alum officially announced her MS diagnosis early last year on Twitter in August.
‘Hello friends. A few months ago I was diagnosed with MS. It’s been a strange journey. But I’ve been so supported by people that I know who has this condition,” Christina explained at the time.
‘Touch was the way to go. But as we all know, the road continues,’ added the star, showing that she is positive towards her health.
Multiple Sclerosis, also classified simply as MS, is a disease that targets the central nervous system, cutting off signals to pass smoothly between the brain and the body, according to the National MS Society website.

While it’s unclear what ceremony Christina will be attending soon, the trip will mark a turning point since her MS diagnosis.
Dead To Me co-star James Marsden spoke about the actress’ strength as she battled her health condition. Earlier in the year, he was spotted walking the set of Dead To Me season 3 with a cane.
“Nothing will be able to keep him down and he will fight and fight for everything,” the Enchanted star told Entertainment Tonight. ‘I admire him as a person.’
Also, ‘No matter what life does to him, he will find a way not to let him down and that’s exactly what he’s doing. It’s really inspiring to see that.’

While Christina hasn’t done any public outings since learning she has MS, she has kept her loyal fans and followers updated with her social media journey.
The holiday actor also enjoys the loving support of his wife, Martyn LeNoble, to whom he said ‘I do’ nearly a decade ago in 2013. The couple has a daughter named Sadie who was born in 2011.
The star’s Netflix series Dead To Me will premiere its third and final season on November 17 next month.
